An ask from our Executive Director: Join Our AIDS Walk Team
I hope this message finds you well. We've been selected again as a beneficiary for the AIDS Walk Atlanta Music Festival, taking place September 27, 2025. I'm reaching out to personally invite you to join our Lost-n-Found Youth team. Together, we can take meaningful steps toward hope, dignity, and health for the unhoused LGBTQ+ youth we serve.
Every dollar we raise is vital. Here’s why your support matters:
Many of our youth are living with HIV/AIDS, often without access to consistent care. Your contributions help fund crucial services our youth need in order to survive.
Unhoused LGBTQ+ young people face overwhelming barriers—including stigma and discrimination. Our programs offer them safe housing, nutritional support, job-readiness, all while addressing their on-going needs.
Public funding only covers a fraction of what’s needed. Your fundraising directly sustains emergency services, case management, peer support groups, and lifesaving prevention education.
By joining our team or making a donation, you’re not just supporting a walk, you’re walking in solidarity with young people who need to know they’re not alone.
Thank you for being a part of our community. We can’t wait to walk with you.
Warmly,
Melanea Alvarez
